SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT MAJOR
The program educates leaders who understand the need for and are able to contribute to continuous school improvement and lifelong learning, providing educational leadership in the broad context of the community, society, the nation, and the world. The School Improvement major is designed for individuals whose goals are to serve as educational leaders and change agents focused on improving school systems and their interactions with families and communities. Students and graduates of the program serve in roles such as principal or assistant principal, program coordinator, department chair, university faculty, staff developers, superintendents, and consultants.
