Occasionally, classes may fill and become closed.  Academic advisors do not have the ability to place students into closed classes; this is reserved for academic departments.  If you are trying to get into a closed class, please contact the department that offers the course to inquire about their procedures for getting into closed classes.  Remember that class size is restricted by the physical size of available classrooms and by fire codes.

For closed classes in the Department of Health, Physical Education, and Recreation, students may obtain a closed class form in Jowers A116 during the late registration period.  As space permits, students may be allowed into closed classes.

For closed classes in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, students may fill out the Class Registration Override form on the department's website, www.education.txstate.edu/ci/.  As space permits, students may be allowed into closed classes.
