RRHEC

EC-4 Generalist at the Round Rock Higher Education Center

At the RRHEC, Texas State University-San Marcos offers classes in the Williamson County area (just north of Austin).  The RRHEC is housed in the Avery Building, which was completed in August 2005.  The Avery Building is located on University Boulevard (Chandler Road/CR 114) in Round Rock, approximately 2-3 miles east of Interstate 35. 

The Texas State RRHEC program offers certification to teach in a regular Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade classroom.  Other certifications are available at Texas State University in San Marcos.  Upon graduating from Texas State, you will have a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and have met the coursework requirement for the EC-4 Generalist certification.
