Open Institutes

writers

For many teachers the summer months are the best time for in-depth professional development. The CTWP offers on-site programming that can run for several hours to a week or more. Open Institutes are often designed to address a particular approach such as using digital forms of writing or working in bilingual classroom settings.

Open Institutes can be held at Texas State University, a school campus or district location, or other community venue such as a public library or museum. Participants of an Open Institute receive CEUs hours.

If you are interested in organizing an open institute at your campus or district, or if you would like to know what open institutes are offered at Texas State University, please contact us.
