Requirements
What are the requirements for selection?

1. a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university
2. a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.75 on the last 60 undergraduate hours or a 3.0 on 24 post-graduate hours
3. a completed certification plan developed by the Center for Student and Professional Services
4. admission through the Texas State Graduate College either as a certification-only student or a degree-seeking student
5. a completed CASE application package sent to the appropriate advisor

 Application Directions

A complete CASE application package includes:

• Application form
• Writing sample - see the link to the form at the bottom of the page and complete in your own handwriting.
• One (1) recommendation, preferably to be completed by last employer. Fill out top portion of recommendation form and forward to recommender, who will submit form to our office.
• Copy of your most recent resume.  For resume writing help and suggestions, please consult Texas State Career Services. 
• Additional documentation (as applicant finds necessary) to support the application.

Application Deadlines:

• October 15 - for Spring program beginning in mid-January
• April 15 - for Summer I program beginning in early June
• June 1 - for Summer II program beginning in early July
• June 15 - for Fall program beginning in late August
