The 12th Annual Teacher's Conference, sponsored by the Central Texas Writing Project, will take place on October 3, 2009.  The conference theme is, "Writing Tools That Help Build Writers: Sharing Extraordinary K-12 Literacy Instruction. 

Jeff Anderson will give the keynote address entitled, "Using Powerful Mentor Sentences to Teach Craft and Skill".  Jeff Anderson enjoys helping teachers integrate grammar and editing instruction into the process of reading and writing.  He offers practical strategies that can be used in the long and short term to develop critical thinkers, writers, and readers.  He is the author of Mechanically Inclined.
