3) The field-based blocks may actually meet at slightly different times than the schedule indicates.  This is because your block is in a real school, and we follow the school’s schedule.  For example, you might be required to be at your block at 7:45 am and will be able to leave 15 minutes earlier than the schedule indicates.  What’s important is that the times your block instructor indicates on your syllabus are the times you’re required to be there.   Block instructors will email you or post on TRACS just before the semester begins to tell you when and where to show up for the first class day—some blocks meet on campus the first days and other begin right away in the school.  For this reason, it will be important for you to monitor your txstate email during the week before classes start and/or check to see if the TRACS site is posted for your block.

4) If current Overall GPA or prerequisites (including acceptance into the Educator Preparation Program) are not met, students will not be able to participate in the block program.
