Stephanie A. Korcheck
Research Coordinator for Proposal Development
Stephanie began working as the COE’s first Research Coordinator in October 2013. She supports faculty seeking internal and external research funding by assisting with project conceptualization, identifying potential funders, and supporting applicants from proposal development to submission. Stephanie targets the strategic elements of designing research projects and crafting proposal documents to optimize quality and competitiveness.

Stephanie earned her master’s degree from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin and Bachelor of Arts in government from the University of Notre Dame.
With 30 years of experience in state government and nonprofit education-related organizations, Stephanie has gained expertise in education policy and law, advocacy, strategic planning, development, and communications.
At Texas State, Stephanie served as an adjunct professor from 2001-2006 in the principal preparation program, teaching a course on politics, policymaking, education law, and the public school finance and accountability systems.
