Increase in Advising Fee Leads to More Advisors

Beginning in Fall 2008, the Academic Advising fee paid by undergraduate students will increase.  This fee increase will provide for the hiring of 25 new Academic Advisors.  Academic advising services are entirely supported by your fees.  In the College of Education, we will be adding three new advisors to assist students.  This will reduce the advisor to student ratio from 1:602 to 1:401.  Students can expect to see construction in our offices over the summer to make room for these new advisors, who we expect to be available to see students in early Fall 2008.
