The University now subscribes to the COS (Community of Science) Funding Opportunities database. The funding database, with more than 25,000 funding sources, is the world's largest database of grants, fellowships, and other monies from both private and public sponsors.  It allows a person to search, save, organize and share the results as well as receive email alerts whenever a new opportunity becomes available.

Access to the database is a two sites:

• On the Office of Proposal Development website
• Through the Alkek Library's website

Once at the library's website, click on "Databases by Subject" on the left-hand side of the screen.  Then click on the letter C at the top of the page, scroll down to "COS Funding Opportunities."  Go to the end of the entry and click on "COS platform."
