How do I renew my certificate?
Log in into your TEAL account to access your educator account, click "View My Educator Certification Account" to access your ECOS account and complete the online application titled "Renew a Standard Certificate" and pay the fee.
How many CPE hours do I need for renewal?
Classroom teachers must complete 150 CPE hours to renew.
Administrators and student services certificate holders must complete 200 CPE hours to renew.
What do I do if I don’t have my CPE hours?
Review the Continuing Professional Education Information page on the TEA website to locate approved providers and resources to help you obtain the hours required to renew your certificate.
