College of Education Scholarships
If you are a student in good standing in the College of Education and you are planning to attend Texas State University during Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 and would like to apply for scholarships follow the directions listed below to submit your online scholarship application. If you are not planning to attend Texas State University during the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 please do not apply.
It is recommended that you read the Frequently Asked Questions prior to starting your application.

 | Create an account in order to access the online scholarship application. To set up your account click here. (You will be setting up a password that you will need to remember.) |
 | Complete the online scholarship application form. If you cannot complete the application in one sitting, you may save (not submit) your work, log out and return to to your account again later. In the event that you begin an application and don't finish it, you must use your password to get back into your application. If you forget your password, use the Forgot Password link. You can use this option to retrieve a temporary password, login, and then reset your password once in the application. It is recommended that you prepare and save your information off line so that you can simply copy and paste it in, otherwise you may find that you have timed out and your essay will be lost. You will notice that there is a time indicator near the top of each page to let you know how much time you have before the system times out. To return to your account click here. |

Be sure to complete the correct scholarship application. Read the information below:
The Texas State-San Marcos College of Education Scholarship Application provides access to apply for over 50 College of Education & Departmental Scholarships using a single application. Our scholarship management system will automatically match your application with all scholarships, within the College of Education, for which you are eligible. The application period is January 1 - February 1.
The Texas State Graduate College Scholarship Application, available from this site 2/1 - 5/15, 2010, provides scholarship application access to post-baccalaureate students who are currently seeking master's and doctoral degrees. Master's and doctoral level students may apply for Graduate College scholarships using this application. The application period is February 1 - May 15.
Note: In the event that you are selected for a Texas State-San Marcos College of Education/Departmental Scholarship, you will be notified in early April. Scholarship recipients are required to submit a thank you letter to the scholarship donor and to attend the Awards Day celebration that is held in conjunction with the spring Kappa Delta Pi Initiation ceremony, Sunday, April 1st from 2:00 to 3:30 pm in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom in San Marcos.
