Scholarships
College of Education Scholarships
The deadline for scholarship applications, for college-wide and departmental scholarships to be awarded for Fall 2010 and Spring 2011, ends at midnight February 1, 2010. If you are planning to attend Texas State University during Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 and would like to apply for scholarships follow the directions listed below to submit your online scholarship application. If you are not planning to attend Texas State University during the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 please do not apply.
It is recommended that you read the Frequently Asked Questions prior to starting your application.

 | Create an account in order to access the online scholarship application. To set up your account click here. (You will be setting up a password that you will need to remember.) |
 | Complete the online scholarship application form. If you cannot complete the application in one sitting, you may save (not submit) your work, log out and return to to your account again later. In the event that you begin an application and don't finish it, you must use your password to get back into your application. If you forget your password, use the Forgot Password link. You can use this option to retrieve a temporary password, login, and then reset your password once in the application. It is recommended that you prepare and save your essay off line so that you can simply copy and paste it in, otherwise you may find that you have timed out and your essay will be lost.  | When your application is complete you should submit the application. Once the application has been submitted it can not be changed so be sure to review it carefully prior to submitting. |
Do not submit multiple applications. Our scholarship management system will match your application with all scholarships, within our college, for which you are eligible.
Note: In the event that you are selected for a scholarship, you will be notified in early May. Scholarship recipients are required to submit a thank you letter to the scholarship donor and to attend the Awards Day celebration that is held in conjunction with the spring Kappa Delta Pi Initiation ceremony, Sunday, April 11th from 2:00 to 3:30 pm in the LBJ Student Center Ballroom in San Marcos.
