Kappa Delta Pi

Kappa Delta Pi is an international honor society in education. Founded in 1911, the organization has more than 55,000 members in 665 chapters worldwide.  Famous KDP members include Albert Einstein, Eleanor Roosevelt, Jean Piaget and George Washington Carver.  The Eta Zeta Chapter at Texas State University was chartered in 1951.

Membership Requirements

  • 3.25 overall GPA
  • Undergraduates: Completion of 30 hours
  • Graduate or Post-Bac: Completion of 6 hours
  • Intention to teach
