Initiative for Interdisciplinary Research Design and Analysis
IIRDA staff assist faculty prior to beginning projects in addition to those with existing datasets. More information can be found under Faculty Consultation Services.
This is a free service and faculty who want to make an appointment simply email firstname.lastname@example.org. Appointments are limited to 1-1.5 hours weekly but faculty can come every week if they want.
IIRDA's goal is to teach faculty not to do the work for them. If a faculty member wants us to do the analyses for them, we will do so for a fee (if we have time-free service comes first).
More information can be found under Professional Data Analysis Services. The distinction between free and fee is as follows: if the faculty is meeting with us and we are showing or discussing their project or data (and they are doing additional reading we suggest) it is free; if we are in our offices by ourselves running a faculty member’s data, there is a fee. We provide an estimate after we receive the data and get an idea of its structure.
