Length: 4 activities, each with a varying number of sessions.

The areas that will be covered during the course of teaching from this book include; math, life science, and physical science.  These subjects will be taught through play, role-play, and drama.  As a group, we believe that young children will become excited about the topic of penguins, especially because of all the media attention that penguins have been given lately, such as in the movies March of the Penguins, Happy Feet, and Surf’s Up.  With so many child based activities in Penguins And Their Young, we are certain that the children will be given an activity that engages them intellectually, yet is easy enough to keep them interested.
