Academic Advisor II


Bailey earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2008 and a Master of Public Administration degree from Texas State in 2018.

Before becoming an advisor in the College of Education in May 2012, she worked as the Administrative Assistant for the College of Education Advising Center and an instructional assistant in the Department of Political Science.

As an advisor, Bailey enjoys teaching students about their degree programs, campus resources, and study skills, so that they can succeed in the classroom and reach their educational and professional goals. In addition to advising students, Bailey also coordinates the Advising Center’s mass communication timeline and the graduation application review process.

When not advising students, Bailey enjoys spending time with her husband, Stephen and son, Jonas.  She also enjoys reading, trying new restaurants, and anything related to Star Wars or Disney.
