Graduate Student Resources
PURPOSE
As part of the 2023-2024 Dean’s Fellowship, this project will provide student support and professional development, specifically designed for COE master’s and doctoral students. Project BELONGS consists of three main initiatives: 1) weekly writing groups, 2) dissertation writing retreats, and 3) a monthly workshop series.
Weekly Writing Groups
Project BELONGS facilitates a learning community of COE graduate students for structured writing activities. Meetings are held weekly via Zoom.
Dissertation Writing Retreats
The Spring 2024 COE Dissertation Boot Camp will take place on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 8:00am - 6:00pm in the College of Education building on the Texas State San Marcos Campus.
Professional Seminar Series
Starting in Fall 2023, Project BELONGS will present online workshops, guest lectures, and professional development activities relevant to graduate student interests.
